Healthy snacks are all the rage, but there’s no reason to spend a lot of money (or time) on them.
You want to eat healthy while you’re out, and the great news is that you can make and take a healthy snack easily. Start with a Mason jar or IKEA food container. Put hummus or vegetable dip in the bottom. Then add sliced sticks of carrots and celery, and even some sugar snap peas for quick, delicious dipping.
This is a great way to use left-over veggies from dinner salads or main courses at home. It’s also a fun and quick after-dinner project for kids.
