Ground beef… it’s what’s for dinner–once it’s thawed, that is.
When you’re hungry for tacos or meatballs, the last thing you want to do is wait forever while the ground beef (or ground turkey or pork) thaws out. You can thaw the main course in a jiffy using this cooking hack: instead of putting an entire package of hamburger into the freezer, separate it into smaller portions and flatten it out before you freeze it.
Put it in a freezer bag, filling it about one-third full. Then flatten the meat, zip the bag shut and freeze.
This kitchen hack will save time and money–no more throwing away the meat you thawed but didn’t use!
