A shower caddy can be used to carry soaps and shampoos, and it also can double as a kids’ food tray. Start with a clean, new caddy of course! (You can find them at Dollar Stores for, you guessed it: $1.) Line it with paper towels, napkins or wax paper and keep it in the car. When it’s time for drive-thru, there will be less spills and less fighting, because instead of a bunch of kids reaching into a bag full of food, each child will have his or her own tray.
You can also use a shower caddy when you bring along food on a road trip. Prep the food the night before, add some snacks and cold drinks, and put the entire caddy in the refrigerator until it’s time to go.
