Peel kiwi without tearing off half the fruit or squishing it to smithereens in the process.
Take a look at the two ends of the kiwi to find the end where the stem was. Cut that off with a paring knife (or any knife). Then slide a spoon into the fruit, pulling the spoon against the skin. Slowly, carefully work your way around the kiwi fruit, using the spoon to separate the peel from the fruit. You’ll know when you’re done, because you’ll be able to move the spoon over the “closed” end of the kiwi, and pop it right out. (Click “Source” for a short video to see this hack in action.)
