Lidded jars–you know, the ones that baby food, pesto sauce and capers come in–are great for storing small items that would otherwise clutter your kitchen counter or desk.
Clean the jars and remove the labels. Attach the lid to the underside of a cupboard with a screw. Make sure the screw is sturdy enough to hold a jar and its contents! Then fill up the jar, and screw it into the lid.
To make this even more appealing (is there anything more appealing than a clutter-free work area?), add chalkboard labels to the jars. They’ll have a nice, uniform look and you can change what’s on the label, and in the jars, whenever you’d like.
