Iron away melted wax that has dripped onto your slacks, sleeve, or any other piece of clothing.
When wax melts on a tablecloth, it’s pretty easy to cover it up with a plate or a centerpiece. But what about when it drips onto your clothing? You’re at a restaurant or at home, and you move a lit candle so you can reach across the table, and the wax splatters onto your sleeve.
There’s an easy way to clean that up: use a hot iron and a plain piece of paper. Set the stained item on an ironing board with a piece of printer paper (copy paper) over it. Gently press the iron onto the paper to heat up the wax. The wax will melt into the paper, and your shirt (or pants) will be as good as new.
