Avocados are a “superfood” that some nutritionists say can help reduce belly fat. They are also a powerhouse of nutrients. They’re great for salads and sandwiches and even egg rolls.
All of that said, even the finest avocado can go bad quickly. A slimy brown slice of goodness is still just as good for you, but not terribly appetizing.
To keep extra slices from turning brown, pour a little olive oil over this superfood fruit. If you’re making stuffed avocado dishes, and have a half left over, leave the pit in–that will help keep the remaining half fresh and green.
