Soup is just about everyone’s favorite–especially during the cold winter months–but to make it right takes a lot of time.
To be most cost- and energy-efficient, make a big batch of soup (or stock) at a time. Use your crock pot, slow cooker, or even a big pan on the stove. Then, freeze the leftovers in muffin pans for single servings that you can heat up later. You can use any muffin tin, and cover it with plastic wrap. Even better, you can find covered muffin tins. Who knew?
