Freeze juice boxes overnight to make creative (and juicy) ice packs for your kids’ lunches.
Separate the drink boxes, and then place them, straws and all, in the freezer at for least a few hours (overnight is best). The frozen juice box will act as an ice pack, keeping sandwiches and treats cool and fresh for lunch and snack-time. Even better, because the juice boxes are so small, they will thaw out in a few hours, providing a cool juice drink to go along with lunch.
If you’re packing a sandwich with meat or cheese, add two frozen juice boxes–one for lunch, and one as an after-school treat.
