Oh, that stripped screw! It’s a total mess to work with in the middle of your home improvement DIY project. You’re just trying to unscrew one screw (and you told your family “Hey, this is easy, I can do it!”) but it’s spinning around and around and the more you work it, the less responsive it is.
Here’s an easy, cheap way to unscrew a stripped screw, and it doesn’t take a welding tool. All you need is a wide, thick rubber band. Set that over the top of the screw, and it should give you a good grip on the problem.
