Traveling with cosmetics doesn’t mean bringing your entire medicine chest along in your overnight bag.
When you travel, of course you want to look your best, and that means remembering to moisturize each morning and night. If you’re flying, your skin may be especially dry and you will be up against limits on what you can carry with you. Pick up a few contact lens cases (at your local dollar store or drug store) and use them to store travel-sized amounts of cream cleanser, lotion and other beauty necessities.
First, wash the cases in soapy water. Then, rinse and pour a little hot water (from a tea kettle or electric kettle) into the case to kill any bacteria that may be present. Rinse, air dry, and you’ve got the perfect to-go sized container for your cosmetics.
