Hot dogs wrapped in bacon anyone? Why wouldn’t you say “yes” to the most delectable meat combination on Earth?
The recipe is simple. Preheat your oven to 350. Have a beer. (That’s optional, of course.) Wrap each hot dog in one to three pieces of bacon. Use toothpicks to attach the ends of the bacon to the ends of the dogs. Set these in an oiled cast iron skillet, and place in the oven.
Bake for 15 minutes, then turn and bake for another 10 – 15 minutes. You’ll want to make sure that the bacon is slightly crispy and, of course, fully cooked.
While you’re waiting, cook up some onions and peppers, and toast the buns. Put it all together and you’ve got a bacon masterpiece.
