The bacon weave is the most delicious way to enjoy a sandwich, and it fits perfectly into a Paleo, Primal or otherwise protein-forward diet.
To add a little spice, protein or tastiness to the next sandwich you make, start with a few pieces of bacon. You can weave them into a square easily, either before or after cooking. If you do it before: start with a slab of sliced bacon and weave the slices together. Cook in a waffle maker for the best results. If you’re working with pre-cooked bacon, you can warm it up a bit in a cast iron skillet, and then let it cool and weave it into a piece of delicious goodness.
